CBSE CTET Exam 2012 Dates have been announced . It is common entrance test that is conducted by CBSE for the recruitment of Teachers for Class Ist to Class 8th.This exam is conducted in accordance with the Right to Education (RTE) Act vide Notification No.29th July 2011 that states minimum educational Qualification for a person to be appointed as a teacher.
• CBSE CTET Exam 2012 is applicable for getting the job in Central Government Schools (such as Kendriya Vidhalaya, Tibetan Schools and Navodaya Vidhalaya).
• Candidates are also applicable to apply for Jobs in unaided Private Schools.
• Schools that are owned by State Govt and State Local bodies.
• Last Date for Receipt of Confirmation Page in CBSE, CTET : 31.08.2012
Who can apply for CBSE CTET Exam 2012 ?
to apply for CBSE CTET Exam 2012, you must possess the below mentioned Educational Qualifications
For Classes -Ist to 5th:
• 12th Class Pass with 50 % marks OR Diploma in Elementary Education from recognized Institute with NCTE Regulations
OR
• Graduation in any discipline OR appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education
For Classes-6th to 8th
• Graduation in any discipline OR appearing in final year of 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education
OR
• Graduation with 50 % marks OR Appearing or passed in B Ed.
Candidates applying for CTET Exam 2012 will have to appear in an Written Exam that is Objective in nature and the Questions asked in the exam are MCQ's (Multiple Choice Questions).There will be two papers (Paper-I and Paper-II) in the CTET Exam 2012
• Paper-I will be for candidates who are seeking employment as a teacher for Class Ist to 5th.
• Paper-II will be for candidates who are seeking employment as a teacher for Class 6th to 8th.
Note: Candidates seeking employment for both the categories will have to appear in Both the papers.
CTET Exam Date 2012: The examination Date is tentatively fixed on 18-11-2012.Paper-I will be be held in Morning (10:30 am to 12 Noon) and Paper-II in Evening ( 1:30 PM to 3:00 PM).
Application fees: An application fee Rs 800 ( For Gen/OBC) and Rs 500 (For Others) will have to be paid in the form of a Bank Draft.
Online Application In order to apply for CBSE Central Teacher Eligibility test (CTET), candidates will have to submit the Online Application at www.ctet.nic.in or www.cbse.nic.in before 24th August, 2012 and had to sent the Print out of the Confirmation page along with Application fees in the form of Bank Draft favouring Secretary, Central Board of Secondary Education to CBSE Office Address before 31st Aug, 2012.
