"Cloze Test" For IBPS CWE Exam (Set-1 to Set-3)

It is a passage will be given, with some five to ten blank spaces in it. For each of these blanks, some alternatives will be given. First you have to read the passage carefully and try to understand what the passage is about. Then choose the most appropriate word in the context of the passage, from the given alternatives. Cloze test is intended to judge a candidate’s knowledge of grammar usage and vocabulary. While filling blanks if you find it difficult to find the appropriate choice, the best method is elimination. Eliminate the words which you find are the least possibilities one by one. Thus you can come to the correct choice. In some passages two sentences will be closely connected. In such a situation, say to fill blank (2) sometimes you will have to fill the 3rd one. Then you will have to come back to the second one.
